We are excited to announce that this summer Carrie will be hosting evening Clay Club hand-building sessions at Kiinship.Space on the Fish Quay, as well as seasonal 3hr workshops. Our workshops are all about fun and collaboration, emphasising creativity and playfulness.

Together, we’ll explore classic hand-building techniques like coiling and slab building to craft everything from unique bud vases and expressive pinch pots to mugs and sturdy jugs!

From time to time we organise walk and clay half day retreats where we explore the coastline, collecting natural objects which we then use as textures, tools and inspiration for our clay session. Join us for a hands-on, mindful experiences that invite you to connect with the beauty of clay and nature. Or contact us to organise a private bespoke group session.

    Open Studios

    Sat 26 - Sund 27 September 26

    OPEN QUAY: Creatives of North Shields are giving you all the key to access their studio and creative process over this first ‘open studio’ weekend. Carrie’s Ceramics Studio in the Lighthouse Art Space will be open to visitors for the weekend - please come say hello, play with some clay or pick up a unique piece of pottery for sale.

    Our sister space - Kiinship - a collaborative workshop and treatment room on the Fish Quay will also be open for tea ceremonies, music and creative movement sessions (www.kiinship.space).

In October 2025, I’ll be one of the artists invited to facilitate clay workshops on a Creative Retreat hosted by Sjaan Moving Arts.
